Amin Al Zarouni, CEO, Sahab Smart Solutions

The UAE National Day is an annual opportunity to reminisce the unparalleled achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in shaping the identity of the nation – a winning streak that has flourished for 49 years under the wise guidance of successive national leadership. National efforts continue to be exerted at both the government and private levels to the advance the UAE’s knowledge economy and digital transformation as an engine for sustainable economic development in accordance with the goals set forth in UAE Vision 2021 and the UAE 2071.

Our leadership’s innovation mindsets have enabled the UAE to benefit from advanced technology outputs, which today are radically transforming the UAE’s public governance systems, business models and investment climate for the better. Our country has been one of the first to employ modern technologies in its efforts to build a government and an economy of the future. I am confident that as the nation moves forward on its journey of sustainable development, our national strategies defining the next phase of development in the fields of Advanced Innovation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fourth Industrial Revolution, and others, will enter its most exciting phase yet.

Marking the historic moment of our beloved nation’s union, it is a reminder of the foundational values that are still deeply rooted in our culture today: unity, tolerance, generosity, and a commitment to progress for all our people. These values, and our forward-thinking leaders who uphold them, are what have led to the UAE so rapidly becoming one of the most developed countries in the world.”

She added: “With the support of our wise leadership, the UAE has also made great strides in driving entrepreneurship and economic development, establishing its position as a destination of choice for regional and international entrepreneurs. Sheraa is proud to be part of this journey, working to support startups and strengthening the infrastructure that ensures the prosperity of vital sectors and promotes socio-economic progress.”

HE Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq)

We congratulate our leadership, citizens and residents on the 49th UAE National Day, as we aspire for bigger achievements and more global praise in years to come. The UAE today enjoys a leading position on both regional and international levels – an outcome of the consistent efforts of our dedicated leaders and people – to place our nation among the top rank holders in terms of global competitiveness. Four factors, namely, economic performance, the government’s efficiency, growth of diversified businesses and a world-class infrastructure have catalysed national development, putting us strongly on the map.

Today, we enjoy a fast-paced modern life in the UAE, built on the foundations of Emirati values, respect and co-existence, by our Founding Father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and carried forward by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. It is in their footsteps that the UAE’s citizens and residents follow to realise our most-cherished collective dream of building a better future for ourselves and others.
